Overage Fees

You need to look carefully at all the limitations and restrictions with each online fax plan, because going over these limits will result in overage fees which can push the costs of online faxing up.  The usual limitations will be with the amount of pages you can send and receive each month, the size of file you can fax at one time, the amount of faxes you can store online in your account and also the amount of time you can store them for free (usually around 30 days).

Contract

Most online fax providers will not require you to sign a contract when you join a plan, and this is a great advantage for customers as if you want to cancel your account you can simply email the provider and cancel immediately without having to pay any cancellation fees or give any advanced notification.  However this also means that the provider can cancel your account whenever they want to, but as it is so easy to set up a new account with another provider this shouldn’t cause too much hassle for customers.
